The Early Achievers

About the Event The Early Achievers is the first-ever meetup organized by CertDirectory, exclusively for the Sri Lankan community. This initiative is designed to spotlight young professionals who have already made significant progress in the industry across domains such as Software Engineering, AI and Machine Learning, and DevOps. We noticed that many university students and beginners are deeply inspired by creators and professionals who achieve career success at an early stage. Their journeys feel relatable and realistic, making them powerful sources of motivation. With this insight, we decided to create a platform where these real-life success stories can be shared directly with aspiring individuals. This event is primarily targeted at: Sri Lankan university undergraduates Fresh graduates Beginners and early-career professionals in the tech industry Anyone who is looking for guidance, inspiration, and practical insights to enter the industry is encouraged to join. The speakers are industry professionals who are either still in university or have recently graduated, yet are already working in the industry. They represent diverse technical domains including Software Engineering, AI/ML, and DevOps, making their journeys highly relevant to the audience. The session will cover: The speakers’ educational journeys How they developed and improved their technical skills How they entered the industry at an early stage Their internship experiences and performance strategies Practical advice, lessons learned, and mistakes to avoid for beginners All discussions are focused on real-world experiences rather than theory. Yes. The event will conclude with a dedicated live Q&A session, where participants can directly ask questions from the speakers.
